Brittney McCurry-Wingate, MSHRM, is a notable HR strategist, celebrated author, and visionary entrepreneur based in Central Alabama. As the CEO and Founder of The Region HR Consulting Firm, she leads a full-service, minority and woman-led firm that partners with organizations to deliver comprehensive HR solutions, including strategy development, recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention programs.

Brittney’s career is marked by historical achievements and transformative leadership. She is recognized for establishing the first Minority and Woman Owned HR Consulting Firm in Central AL, and she holds the distinction of being the first African American HR Manager for a PepsiCo Supplier in Montgomery since 1906. Her deep expertise, honed through key HR roles in the Automotive & Manufacturing industries, focuses on transforming work environments by enhancing employee relations, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering positive work cultures.

A powerful public speaker, Brittney has presented critical topics such as Effective Strategies for attracting top talent on a small budget, Effective Leadership: Leading the Charge , and Understanding FMLA & Employee Rights. She is the author of The Real Deal: The Journey and co-author of Under the Shadow: Our Journey with Polycystic Kidney Disease.

Brittney is a widely awarded professional and a dedicated community servant. Her accolades include induction into Marquis Who's Who in America and the 2024 Business of the Year Award by the Herpreneur Network. She has consistently been recognized as the Face of Outsource HR Solutions for Central AL and the youngest person to receive the Commitment to Service Award from the City of Montgomery. Brittney actively gives back to the community, serving as the Vice President of the Mayor’s Young Professional Council (2023-2025) and on the Board of Directors for organizations like the J. Walters Rites of Passage Youth Detention Center.

She holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Troy State University. Ultimately, her greatest accomplishment and legacy is maintaining the title of “change agent.
